 (17.5 hours per week) Fixed Term until June 2011

(This post will be subject to job evaluation within the next 6 months)

You will support the delivery of high quality customer care through ensuring the efficient and effective functioning of the beauty therapy salon within the Beauty Therapy curriculum area.

This will involve providing a professional front-of-house/reception service for the salon, promoting the salon to external customers and supporting the development and implementation of an electronic stock control system.

In addition to providing a laundering service to support the salon activities, you will also act as a role model in providing supervision and advice to students.

Educated to Standard Grade level in English/Arithmetic, or equivalent, it is essential that you have relevant and up to date experience of providing a professional and customer focused service within a beauty therapy environment. It is also essential that you are proficient in the use of IT. Units of study undertaken in beauty therapy would be advantageous for this post.
