Known internationally for their ability to deliver Engineering solutions to the Municipal Water industry, this leading Engineering firm are currently at the forefront in the Scottish Water market. With a Scottish head quarters based in Fife they are currently looking to recruit an experienced Electrical Project Engineer to begin work on a number of key projects that are currently underway. Reporting to the Senior Project Manager you will be responsible for:
Provide electrical and all round project engineering skills to support the planning and delivery of a wide range of water industry projects
To ensure that projects are delivered safely in accordance with company H&S policy, to schedule and within budget.
Managing through safe systems of work, method statements and risk assessments the on-site delivery, commissioning and handover of projects.
To manage, plan and deliver project packages from initial enquiry to project acceptance.
Produce project designs and quotations.
Provide technical support to field staff and project team.
Carry out effective client liaison for all projects under your control.
Ensure that all H&S procedures are met and maintained.
Produce and oversee the production of safe systems of work and risk assessments for all projects undertaken.
Manage project delivery in accordance with standard company procedure.
Provide commissioning support.
Assist with business development activities and the promotion of the company's services to existing and potential clients.
To be successful in this role you will need to demonstrate the following
Electrical engineering qualification.
Electrical design and review experience.
Plant commissioning experience
Water Hygiene Qualification.
Membrane plant experience desirable.
Knowledge of DSEAR preferred.
Interpretation and ideally production of technical drawings.
