Trainee Reliability Engineer Ayrshire North   Attractive Salary DOE

A fantastic opportunity exists for a Trainee Reliability Engineer to work within our client’s successful and well established manufacturing organisation. You will be part of the maintenance department working on a dayshift basis.

Key Responsibilities will include:

•Optimising plant availability and identifying solutions to performance killers and cost drivers.

•Analysing maintenance history, preventative maintenance and asset utilisation data

•Proposing solutions based on analyses, root cause analysis findings etc

•Recommending improvement projects to small projects process

•Acting as an RCA/Failure Mode and Effect Analysis leader/facilitator

•Selection of optimum preventative maintenance strategies and development of comprehensive plans

•Carry out post implementation reviews to ensure benefits realised

The successful candidate will be educated to a minimum of HNC level within Mechanical Engineering. Candidates who hold an HNC/D will be required to complete a degree which will be supported and sponsored by the company. Candidates with experience will also be given due consideration and will have a proven track record of technical competence within their respective discipline. Experience is preferred, although not essential as full training will be given. This role will suit a self motivated, highly organised individual who is looking to work within a challenging environment.
