Key is now recruiting for a Management Accountant to support the business in providing accurate and relevant financial information to monitor business performance and ensure compliance with external reporting requirements. Managing a small accounts team, responsibilities will include:

·         Preparation of regular, accurate forecasts that reflect current business plans;

·         Providing the necessary financial support during the annual budgeting process;

·         Timely and accurate financial accounts and reports;

·         Ensuring robust financial accounting controls are in place and maintained;

·         Effectively manage systems and department procedures;

·         Act as financial systems ‘champion’ responsible for effective financial systems development and operation;

·         Special project investigation into business performance issues and explanation of variances;

·         Develop and implement new reporting tools, processes and ways of working.

Who we are looking for

We are seeking CV’s from qualified accountants (CIMA/ACCA/ACA preferred) with a proven ability to work and influence across all functions and at all levels within the business. You will be confident at using accounting packages (Navision preferred) with previous experience of managing a team. Strong communication and relationship building skills are a must, along with hands-on, pro-active approach to your work.
