MEDIA SALES EXECUTIVE Glasgow   £25-30k Basic + High OTE + Car +Bens

Our client, one of the UKs leading print publishers, is looking to recruit a  Senior Sales Executive to represent one of their leading technology brands. As Senior Sales Executive, you will be responsible for maximising revenue by growing the existing client business and generating new business. You will also be responsible for championing the brand and running the display side of the publication. Although this role is based in Glasgow, there will be some occasional UK travel.

Key Responsibilities include:

• Developing new advertising clients by investigating the market and being ahead of the competition
• Maximising the allocated client base in terms of revenue, yields, volumes and forward bookings / series advertising
• Representing the company to the highest standards of professionalism and efficiency to all clients and customers
• Recording all activity accurately on the relevant sales data bases 

Person Specification

• Proven experience in media sales with some display experience is essential
• Excellent telephone sales skills
• Experience working within a high pressure sales environment
• Experience of generating new business streams within an advertising environment
• Strong negotiation skills
• Ability to generate significant forward bookings and up-sell existing clients
• Experience of developing several levels of contact within clients, PRs and ad agencies
• Good face-to-face sales presentation skills
• Online advertising experience
• Experience of selling packages / creative solutions
