Our client is a leading Utility, they are seeking to find a Product Developer to manage an exciting new portfolio of work. The role is with the Product and Pricing Team which is a function of the Sales and Marketing Department, the successful candidate will join an experienced team of commercial delivery experts and assume responsibility for the innovation and implementation of new product ideas aimed at achieving key sales.
Your remit will include:
· Instigate product innovation to maintain competitive advantage and enhance value per customer.
· Maximise the performance of assigned product portfolio with regards to:
. Customer number and margin contribution.
. Process performance and efficiency.
· Manage the product lifecycle(s) for assigned development portfolio including:
. Concept development and introduction
. Ongoing enhancement (online service)
. Product termination and replacement
· Develop and deliver business cases relating to new product introduction and enhancements to existing offerings including:
. Analyse market viability, customer needs & volume projections
. Secure approval from relevant business stakeholders
. Implementation and value delivery against approved business cases.
· Provide support to sales, marketing and service channels as a Product Expert with regards to their allocated product portfolio.
The successful candidate will have a proven track record of delivery in Product Marketing. You will also demonstrates full life cycle Project management experience. Be a skilled communicator with effective influencing skills. High excellent Numerical and analytical skills. Have the ability to manage several distinct activities simultaneously. Display strong budgetary control skills.
