QD Events Limited, based within the SECC, is one of Scotland’s leading Event companies with a portfolio of high profile consumer events including The Scottish Wedding Shows, The Scottish Baby & Toddler Show, The Scottish Caravan & Outdoor Leisure Show, The Main Event, Fishing Show, London Pet Show and the renowned IRN-BRU Carnival.
We are currently looking for an experienced and talented professional to work closely with the Marketing Manager to execute all elements of the marketing & PR campaigns across these Events. The priority of the role is to contribute creative and innovative ideas and manage projects to exceed budgeted visitor attendance.
To be successful, ideally you will be of graduate calibre with a minimum of 2 years experience gained within a consumer marketing environment. In addition, you will have the ability to deliver on your own initiative, have good numeric and communication skills, have exceptional attention to detail with the ability to work on many projects simultaneously, prioritising conflicting tight deadlines. It is also important that you can work flexibly as during the Events, there will be the need to work outside normal hours, including weekends and public holidays.
