Laser Alignment Technician Glasgow   £Attractive DOE

Eden Scott’s client based in Glasgow, are a world leading electronic design and manufacturing organisation.  Their state of the art, Scottish manufacturing operation is concerned with the design, assembly, test, modification and repair of specialised products supporting global clients in the medical, scientific and commercial applications.  Rising demand and continued commercial success, means they are now looking to recruit a Laser Alignment Technician.

This is a production role and involves building, alignment and test of various laser based products.  Strong diagnostic skills are essential along with ability to contribute to continuous improvement of the build process. This will include a degree of collaboration with design teams.  They operate an open and friendly work environment and strong communication and team working skills are also required. Previous experience in working with Laser Systems is ESSENTIAL.

You may be of graduate calibre, or possess relevant technical experience in a similar environment, ideally with some relevant experience in a High Mix / Low Volume manufacturing environment, although this is not essential. We would be especially keen to hear from candidates who have Laser Science qualifications. Above all you are a team player, who is able to communicate at all levels.
