This is an excellent contract opportunity based in Galashiels. My client has a requirement for a Business Analyst to work with IT on behalf of Social Work and provide information in three separate areas:

 1.     Homeless System

2.     Homecare Roster

3.     Financial Module

 Main Responsibilities:

 ·      Stakeholders analysis

·      Business process analysis

·      Implementation scoping analysis – What is achievable within constraints of SBC infrastructure

·      Recommendations report for each of three projects

·      Review of Internal Audit Report that backs up reasons for this project

·      Review historic business process to-date

·      Judge Validity and make any required changes

·      Gap analysis between business process and system functionality

·      To review functionality of current MIS system (Staffplan Homecare Roster)

·      Analyse strengths and weaknesses with both system and process.

·      Highlight gaps and make recommendations for change.

·      Technical analysis of Homecare Roster

·      Business analysis of Homecare Roster

·      Report on strengths, weaknesses and gaps

·      Scoping of work packages required for remediation    

 Essential

 ·          Travel Between my clients main area offices.

·          Proven Business Analysis experience.

·          Process mapping experience

 Desirable

·          Experience of working in a Social Work Environment

·          Experience of Working in a Local Government Environment.
