An excellent opportunity has arisen to join this leading drinks organisation in the role of Marketing Planning Manager. This business has an impressive portfolio of brands and is a dominant player within their field.

Reporting into the Regional Managing Director, you will work closely with their channel marketing team at head office to ensure the successful activation of agreed activity within your region. This role will be responsible for providing strategic and tactical marketing support to maximise the profit for the business within the regional business unit. You will work very closely with the sales team and also be customer facing to ensure the effective communication and delivery of all promotional support. In addition, you will act as an Ambassador for Business Insight as well as add value to customers by proving appropriate support that will grow their business and ensure the organisation is a supplier of choice.

For this role, we're looking for candidates who have a background in either drinks or FMCG with a mix of experience in sales together with trade or brand marketing. You will enjoy being out on the field and feel confident selling the benefits of activity plans into the sales team in order to gain their buy in. Strong analytical skills are key as you will be required to analyse and manipulate channel data to produce effective strategies and plans for the business unit. Candidates will have a results driven approach and adopt a pivotal role between marketing and sales. This is an ideal role for someone who is keen to develop their skill set in trade marketing whilst still being out in the field.
