Mechanical Engineer Glasgow   Up to £280 per day

Our client, an international consultancy working in the Energy sector has a current requirement for a Mechanical Engineer on a contract basis to work out of the Glasgow Office. The Mechanical Engineer will be part of a team looking after the design and build phase of a number of renewable energy test bed facilities.

Duties include writing specifications, reviewing tenders, interviewing equipment suppliers, recommending suppliers and reviewing the on-going technical side of the contract,

Applications are welcome from degree qualified Mechanical Engineers (Preferably chartered) who have experience working in a multi contract project environment within the power / energy sector. Hydraulics experience would also be beneficial.

Up to £280 per day and minimum 6 month contract!
