Senior Project Manager Glasgow   £40,000-£55,000

With the demand for Energy supply more and more companies are looking at innovative ways to generate Electricity  and Renewable Energy is at the forefront.  Due to continued growth and success there is an imminent requirement for an experienced Technical Project Manager to fortify the existing dynamic team in Glasgow.

Working for a well established multinational Utility business, this is an exciting opportunity in an aggressive growth market . 

You will be responsible in assisting the development team with all aspects of development activity from project tracking and work stream management across a range of activities encompassing the following:

• Develop a project programme, budget and resource to support projects
• Appoint and manage consultants to support of development and diligence projects,
• Deliver CAPEX projects in the generation industry on time and on budget,
• Negotiating contracts whilst completing and presenting tenders,
• Facilitate and delegate specific site specifications for new build projects,
• Coordinate and develop due diligence for existing assets and ensure numerous fault finding measures are carried out,
• Lead the development project managers with ensuring that a robust integration programme is formulated and delivered which appropriately mitigates risks whilst capturing the transaction’s value.

For this role you will require experience in the development, planning, commissioning or operation of renewable sites/developments.

You are Degree qualified in Mechanical or Electrical Engineering combined with significant year’s worth of direct engineering and power experience in a consulting or utilities environment.
