Outstanding opportunity for experienced Software Test Analysts to join growing permanent Test team as they embark on exciting pipeline of varied projects. This is a fast moving dynamic organisation that will offer challenges, rewards and real opportunities to develop career and skills rapidly.
You will be involved in full lifecycle testing including;
- Stage Management for the Test phase of one or more projects
- Ownership for the production of test estimates based on various inputs to prepare and execute the test phase.
- Provision of the Test Approach/Strategy documents to drive the test phase.
- Establishing improved test automation scripts, using most appropriate toolset in line with strategy
- Ensures all quality checks and deliverable reviews are undertaken
- Identification of Test Environment and Test Data requirements
- Creation and execution of tests in accordance with the Test Approach include maintaining regression test packs.
- Represents the Test community across the project delivery lifecycle providing positive contribution in all aspects of the role
- Communicating progress against plan for any work packages.
- Contributes to the communication and implementation of test strategy, standards and procedures
Candidates for this role will have the following;
- A proven track record in the delivery of complex projects
- Demonstrable experience mentoring / developing team members on processes, methods and tools
- Experience in the use of Test tools including creation and execution of automated scripts and use of Quality Centre for manual tests.
- Fantastic analytical skills and attention to detail.
- Excellent MS Office skills including word and excel.
- Experience using SQL, both writing and executing queries.
- The ability to build and maintain internal/external stakeholder relationships
- Excellent communication and organisational skills with the ability to prioritise tasks while providing accurate progress reports.
- An energy and enthusiasm to drive quality, to improve the service that we provide and to challenge current methods.
This role is based in Central Scotland and will be commutable from such places as Edinburgh, Glasgow, Fife, Stirling and Falkirk.
