Accounts Assistant Glasgow   £16500 - £19500 per annum

Eden Scott is currently looking for an Accounts Assistant to work for a successful accountancy practice firm within the Glasgow area. The organisation is looking for an individual who has a positive and enthusiastic attitude towards their work, they also need to have strong communication skills, be able to work to tight deadlines and deal with clients in an effective and professional manner. The successful candidate will also need to be logical within their work and have attention to detail.

The accounts assistant position requires the candidate to have a minimum of three years experience gained within practice experience, this is essential. It also requires the candidate to have experience of accounts preparation with an understand of a range of technical aspects, general knowledge of small business taxation, knowledge of Sage Line 50 and the candidate needs to be IT literate with skills in Microsoft Office.

Skills that are desirable for the candidate, but are optional, include experience of training users in Sage Line 50, experience of preparing accounts for medical/legal practices and experience in the not for profit sector.

This organisation encourages career development and the successful candidate may have the opportunity to progress to professional qualifications (AAT or ACCA). The salary for this position will depend on the length of experience however will be between £16,500 and £19,500.
