Palmaris Plant Hire Ltd Accountant Coatbridge   £25,000 pro rated to £15,000 for 3 days pw; company pension scheme

We are looking for a part-qualified or experienced accountant for a part-time role, 3 days per week, preferably Tuesday - Thursday.  The position is based in Coatbridge but will require periodic travel to Aberdeen.  The company is a subsidiary of a well-established group. 

The successful candidate will have a hands-on approach, a willingness to take ownership, implement systems improvements and the ability to work independently.  Excellent communication skills are essential since you will be working within a small team and also working with operational management and other accountants in the group.

The main duties are:

Prepare monthly management accounts

Credit control

Payroll analysis

Monthly P&L analysis

Balance sheet reconciliations

Accounting for fixed assets and HP agreements

Ad hoc support/cover for day-to-day tasks

Plant hire experience would be helpful but is not essential.  Sage 200 experience would also be advantageous for this role.
