Quality Engineer Glasgow

My client are currently recruiting a Quality Engineer to provide day-to-day support to the manufacturing operation in all aspects relating to quality including, but not limited to:

*Line fall-out and root cause analysis, process and yield improvement and process control implementation and monitoring.
*Liaise and communicate with customers on quality-related activities.
*This to include coordinating actions and responses to customer concerns and/or issues identified in the customer's user plants. Using the appropriate customer portals to communicate and update information and data.
*Participate in the organizations Lean Manufacturing program to realise improvements in all areas of the business.
*Provide expertise to the team(s) in terms of product/process knowledge, and in the analysis and use of data.

To be considered for this role candidates will possess the following:

*Qualified to H.N.C. level in an Engineering discipline
*Proven experience in high volume manufacturing working within a Quality Assurance / Quality Engineering role.
*Served a formal apprenticeship.
*Has utilized the 'core tools' of PFD, FMEA, PCP, SPC, MSA and PPAP.
