Large, well established Engineering company based in Hamilton seek a experienced "allrounder" for this interesting and very varied role (rarely available).
The purpose of the job is 3 fold:
- Telesales (contacting lapsed customers and re-introducing the companies services)
- Account Management/Customer Service (ensuring all regular customers are looked after, called regularly and offered all up to date services available - offering highest standards of customer service in the process)
- Sales Administration (Processing of all Customer orders and ensuring paperwork and customer database are correct and up to date at all times)
Based within the Sales Department, you will join a team of 20 overall in the office, but 3 in sales/admin.
The sort of UK wide customers you will be dealing with are:
Public Sector/Local Authority/Councils etc
Highway contractors
Civil engineers
Architects
PREVIOUS EXPERIENCE OF DEALING WITH THIS SORT OF CUSTOMER BASE IS ESSENTIAL FOR THE ROLE.
HOURS
Monday - Friday 8.30am - 5.30pm
SALARY
Will pay up to £18,000 for candidate with good experience
ESSENTIAL SKILLS & EXPERIENCE
Previous Sales and Account Management of customer base
Previous experience of working within an Engineering company would be a huge advantage
Previous experience of dealing with a similar customer base (as stated in this advert above).
