Branch Manager Glasgow   £23000 - £27000 per annum + Bonus

Reed Insurance are currently recruiting for a Branch manager to join a national retail banking organisation based in Glasgow City centre. In this prestigious and rarely available role you will be managing a team of sales and banking staff whilst also assisting the mortgage adviser in providing mortgage solutions to their personal banking customers. The successful candidate for this role must be an experienced mortgage adviser as well as a having had experience of managing a sales team.

Some of the main responsibilities in this role are to:

* Achieve and exceed branch sales targets and increase the standards of customer service.
* Develop and motivate the branch staff to succeed and exceed branch targets.
* Forward plan activity to maintain a sufficient pipeline in all business areas.
* Provide ongoing coaching to staff.
* Maximise productivity and customer service in the branch, ensuring that resources are effectively deployed.
* Ensure branch audit security and cash management requirements are adhered to.
* Monitor branch activity, measure performance and report outcomes.
* Support the Regional Sales Manager and peers in the business area.

The successful candidate must be:

* CeMap qualified within 12 months of appointment to the role
* Educated to 5 GCSE level standard or equivalent (or above), desirable too be educated to A Level standard or equivalent.
* An experienced manager of people with leadership skills and the ability to inspire and influence the performance of a branch sales team.
