Avenue Recruitment Development Engineer Hillington   £30 - £33 per annum + pension.

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES ARE:
1. Undertake multiple projects and activities to ensure that project milestones and deliverables are being met to agreed targets.
2.Ensure design quality, design directives and standards are met.
3.Maintain quality management systems for both internal and external delivery of design projects.
4.Ensure a smooth new product introduction transition between development and production.
5.Manage and create bills of materials and work instructions.
6.Control drawing revision and ensure certification measures are adhered to.

PERFORMANCE CRITERIA
Qualifications, Knowledge & Experience
Qualified to HND or Degree level
Operational understanding of 2D AutoCAD mechanical and Autodesk 3D Inventor.
Advanced knowledge of Microsoft office packages Word & Excel. Experienced with quality management systems such as QS9000.
Control of product documentation such as engineering drawings, customer specifications and BOM's.
Working knowledge of ATEX / IECEx set of standards.

Business Competencies
Ability to communicate and deal with people through all levels of the company.
Understanding and previous involvement in Lean Manufacturing, 5S and Kaizen.
