Client Services Team Lead - Glasgow City Centre

The Opportunity:

Our client is a leading Microsoft-based consultancy services headquartered & based in the heart of Glasgow City Centre. They have an enviable cross sector client base and have enjoyed a thirty percent rise in business and profitability and are expanding.

The role

As a Client Services Team Leader, you will be responsible for providing second line support for customers in relation to the technical products that our client provides. You will assist customers with configuration requirements, give guidance and advice, as well as resolve and advise on technical issues You will also be responsible for building and maintaining client relationships involving some activity on client sites and regular service level reviews.

Your duties will include:

  • Answering, resolving and escalating client software issues
  • Supporting and assisting internal clients
  • Attending client visits on occasion
  • Supporting business applications
  • Providing Management Information including trend and status reporting
  • Involvement in the continued improvement of the department tools and systems

    To be considered for this position, you must have:

  • Customer service experience, supporting IT products
  • Management or Supervisory experience, within an IT or helpdesk environment
  • Solid experience in Software fault resolution in particular with Microsoft's SQL, fault logging, tracking and resolution.
  •  
  • Experience or knowledge of SQL development is preferred, particularly SSIS, SSRS and SSAS
  • Great communication skills and a high level of IT literacy
  • High proficiency in MS Office.
  • Team player with a methodical and reliable approach
  • Fault finding and testing skills will be second-to-none and you must have an excellent telephone manner and the ability to communicate with non-technical people.
  • Experience of web services would also be advantageous
