Waste Recycling Operative (ACROP) Arbroath   £16,533 - £17,285

Job Description

Based at ACROP, Arbroath, working 37 hours per week, Monday to Friday, you will work as part of a team providing recycling services including controlling public access to the centre, office and site cleaning, record keeping and assisting with unloading and safe disposal of bulky materials.

Requirements

You will have knowledge of basic road safety and health and safety at work, good oral and written communication and customer care skills and basic numeracy skills. You will also have experience of manual handling, keyholder and security duties and dealing with members of the public along with the ability to maintain records and work unsupervised and as part of a team. Willingness and the ability to work outside in all weathers and with noxious materials are essential.

Knowledge and an interest in recycling are desirable as is experience of similar work or of working outside and of assisting drivers with manoeuvres.

A full, current driving licence, including Category C1 entitlement and a Forklift Certificate are essential.
