ETV Products & Services, a subsidiary of iBAHN Corp., is a leading supplier of digital entertainment services to the Hospitality Industry.  Our ETVi guest-room product is the world's first hospitality triple-play product, delivering fully interactive TV, including IPTV headend, true Video-on-Demand, IP Telephony, music, games and broadband Internet access over a single cable. ETV is also a licensed distributor of Video On Demand content worldwide.

We require two forward-thinking Software Developers with experience in developing within a Linux environment.

Duties and Responsibilities:

·       Develop and maintain interactive TV (IPTV) applications for standard definition and high definition set-top boxes using custom ActionScript frameworks

·       Develop and maintain backend configuration, reporting, content management and business logic web applications

·       Work closely with other Developers at the same and remote locations, including Hong Kong, Singapore, Salt Lake City (USA) and Chennai (India)

 Skill Requirements:

The following skills are to be covered by the two roles:

·       Application development in Java and PHP

·       Working knowledge of Linux and Git

·       Flash ActionScript advanced user-interface development, preferably v1

·       Web services / database development using Java, XML, PHP, PostgreSQL, JBoss

·       Third party integration experience using XML Web Services, bespoke TCP/IP and RS232 protocols, and a knowledge of integrating with as many of the following solutions providers as possible: telephony call managers, billing systems, system provisioning, building management systems, resort booking systems

·       Digital audio/video formats & streaming technologies (DVB-T/S, ATSC, MPEG-2/4)

Other skills, which would be beneficial:

 ·       Real time embedded systems

·       Python

·       Comfortable operating within a high availability (24/7) software environment
