In this job you will ensure that all Our Clients activities are carried out in accordance with all relevant Health & Safety legislation and that all persons affected either directly or indirectly are not subjected to avoidable risks.
In addition to this you will ensure that where appropriate, all requirements under the CDM regulations are satisfied. It will also be your responsibility to provide advice on all matters related to Health & Safety issues to departments and individuals within the company as and when required under the day to day direction of the Health & Safety Manager. Further to this you will carry out Health & Safety inspections and/or audits both on the premises of Our Client and construction sites as directed by the Health & Safety Manager. You will also ensure that all activities are carried out in a safe manner and that staff are not placed in a hazardous environment.
To be considered for this role you must be able to work in the UK without restriction, therefore candidates out with the EU that do not have a minimum Tier 1 Visa, coupled with a minimum of 5-years demonstrable experience UK experience within similar role need not apply.
In addition it is essential you have a NEBOSH certification , IOSH membership would be desirable. As you will be dealing with all personnel within the Company you must have Good communication skills as well as a Sound knowledge of Health & Safety legislation. Candidfates with Health and Safety experience within the Construction Industry, specifically Water would be considered highly desirable.
