ENVIRONMENT DEPARTMENT

POST: Sheltered Housing Warden

REF: EN/028/12

GRADE: Grade 4

SALARY: £16,282 - £17,806 (£8.44 to £9.23 per hour)

HOURS: 37 per week

LOCATION: Bellfield Court, Barrhead

You will be required to act as advocate in all matters relating to the resident’s wellbeing, if appropriate. In addition you will ensure that residents who may require referral to or the services of, other agencies are identified.

Experience of working in a residential setting with older residents is desirable as is the requirement to have a good knowledge and understanding of the needs of vulnerable people. You must have a high level of reliability and personal integrity, be calm and patient and be able to deal with any unexpected and emergency situations in a professional manner.
