Education & Communities Post of Head Teacher at St Joseph’s Primary School - P00688 (This is a re-advertisement and previous applicants need not reapply as your application will automatically be considered)

Inverclyde Council wish to appoint an experienced teaching professional as Head Teacher at St Joseph’s Primary School, Greenock.

Working with pupils, parents and staff you will be someone who is a strategic thinker with excellent leadership, organisational, communicative and interpersonal skills.

As an experienced school manager you will:

Ø be an exceptional motivator and leader

Ø have a professional commitment to the development and learning of pupils where every pupil has the opportunity to reach their full potential

Ø have the ability to initiate and manage change

Ø have the character and authority to manage the challenges of this post

The successful candidate for this post will require approval as to their religious belief and character, in accordance with the Education (Scotland) Act 1980 Section 21 (a) as amended by the self-governing Schools etc.(Scotland Act) 1989
