Crummock are a dynamic and very successful Civil Engineering and Surfacing company based in Midlothian.  We are currently seeking an Estimator within the company's Civils division. 

The ideal candidate will have extensive estimating experience within a civil construction environment and be educated to H.N.C. standard (or above), but the post may also be of interest to site-based staff looking for a change of environment.  They should be able to demonstrate the ability to:

1. Achieve commercial success in the tendering process
2. Take leadership of projects at appropriate stages and add value to an internal team.
3. Show their knowledge of all current Methods of Measurements, Specifications, Conditions of Contract, & good construction practices.
4. Work from Drawings/Specifications/Clients’ briefs & produce a Quotation/Tender.
5. Build relationships with clients
6. Use computerised systems, with knowledge of appropriate packages.
7. Be a Team player within the wider Crummock team.
