The role of the Inside Sales Reporting Lead will be to devise and implement a reporting strategy which provides management with timely, accurate and appropriate business intelligence for distribution to internal and external stakeholders.
* Lead the Inside Sales Reporting Team and collaborate with the senior management team, sales managers and team specific reporting resources to define MI requirements
* Engage with multiple Client BU and EMEA reporting owners to ensure alignment of inside sales reporting with country and EMEA results.
* Work with the reporting teams and the business to ensure the account alignment process is working effectively
*Utilize the full functionality and capabilities of Clients Data Warehouse (EDW) to automate existing processes and set up efficient data extracts which cover multiple BU reporting needs.
* Agree a common suite of standard reports with the business and design and develop new reports using appropriate technical solutions
* Manage the development of an Inside Sales complete reporting metric with a user friendly front-end delivery system.
* Design and develop high quality, scalable and extendable reporting solutions. Develop customized solutions to link data, show in specific layouts, store, locate, and retrieve documents, data, and information.
* Ensure technical feasibility checks for new reporting requests. Create a proposal and give potential timeframes for development activities.
* Analyze reports to identify key areas requiring focus and reason. Provide management with actionable insights from the reports and data provided.
* Ensure reporting standards are in place, reports are documented and coverage is in place for holiday periods.
* Support Inside Sales coaching culture by sharing reporting skills with colleagues
*Monitor MI production and highlight / escalate any issues to manage them through the appropriate escalation channels.
* Ensure the quality of reports is excellent and that they are reliable and can be produced consistently.
Skills & Knowledge Required:
* Educated to Bachelor degree level, preferably in the Computer Science or Economic field
* Strong, proven English language skills - both verbal and written
* Advanced Microsoft SQL Server 2005 or 2008 knowledge, understanding of databases.
* Sound Microsoft Excel and Microsoft Access knowledge.
* Ability to work both independently or in a team and to show initiative.
* Ability to work with management.
* Accountability for tasks assigned.
* Strong ability to synthesize and convey knowledge & information, as well as to facilitate learning and coach others in gaining specific competencies.
* Strong analytic thinking
* Excellent communication skills (questioning, listening, presentation & negotiation skills)
