Job
First People Solutions are currently recruiting for a CDM coordinator to join one of the UK's largest multi disciplinary design practices. The job has arisen due to an expanding workload. An additional full-time CDM coordinator based in Glasgow is required to manage the current workload.
The successful candidate will take day to day responsibility for the role of CDMC on projects and ideally assist with preparing fee proposals and PQQ's, and provide guidance and advice internally on the CDM Regulations and design risk management.
The ideal candidate will be available to work in the Glasgow office working on UK projects.
Qualifications
The ideal candidate will have:-
* A thorough working knowledge of the Construction (Design and Management) Regulations.
* Recent or current experience in a consultancy, ideally on a variety of large, small and complex projects.
* Confidence in their ability to develop friendly and co-operative working relationships with project teams and other stakeholders, and to assist the project teams in achieving CDM compliance through an advisory, co-operative and practical approach.
* Membership of the Association of Project Safety or currently working towards membership.
* NEBOSH National Certificate in Construction Health and Safety (not essential).
Other workplace or construction health and safety, or construction professional skills and qualifications which may benefit our business could be advantageous.
