Manufacturing Engineering Project Manager Dumbarton   £40000- 60000

Hudson is recruiting a Projects Engineering Manager for its heavy engineering client in central Scotland. Working within a heavy engineering manufacturing environment this role is crucial driving and manage this heavy engineering manufacturing site from an operational management perspective. 

Responsibilities will include: 

• Preparing quotations.
• Negotiating Commercial terms and conditions
• Control Overhead spends ensuring within budget.
• Manage labour recruitment and match to order book schedule.
• Manage factory scheduling to meet customer requirements.
• Co-ordinate the release of material from stores to production areas as applicable.
• Establish the purchase requirements of stock and sub-orders
• Negotiate and agree outcomes with customer as part of ongoing project management
• Manage and Prioritize varying requirements of customer against availability from manufacturing and suppliers to ensure planned completion dates.
• Motivate project team members to ensure project team delivers to the required standard.

This role will be reporting to board level hence the successful Engineering Management candidate will have a demonstrable background within a project driven manufacturing environment. As the role will be liaising with all functions of manufacturing including Engineering, Design, production etc experience of working within a similar industrial manufacturing environment will be required.
