Change Recruitment are seeking an experienced Document/Collateral Production Analyst, on behalf of our client, a leading global organisation.  This is initially a six month role, with the potential of going permanent depending on performance.

Our client undertakes research on behalf of it's clients, and the Production Analysts are responsible for producing the copy that is sent out to clients, which can take the format of Web or CD based products.  One of the key elements of the role is the conversion of documents from a variety of formats into HTML, whilst maintaining accuracy and undertaking any reformatting, editing or spell-checking necessary.  So while this role involves a working knowledge of HTML, we are not looking for an IT professional or website designer; pur client's ideal candidate will also have a publishing, or document/collateral production background.

Key responsibilities for the role include:

  • Liaising with business areas to check the status and delivery of documents, and chasing missing data;
  • Running appropriate production processes to generate raw HTML;
  • Amending source data to correct issues in HTML, and providing advice to colleagues;
  • Proof and correct output prior to loading on the website;
  • Maintain documentation and log issues;
  • Loading content to the website;
  • Managing Email alerts;
  • Managing the CD production process to set timescales;
  • Generating master CDs;
  • Dispatching products and maintaining stock levels;
  • Providing support to the helpdesk team;
  • Maintaining records
  • Proactively working to raise and address issues and then working with the Business Systems team to improve processes;
  • Ensuring that work is completed to set timescales, and liaising with colleagues to facilitate this;
  • Order fulfilment including running day end processes, ensuring all packages are complete before being sent and managing print runs.

Applicants must meet the following criteria:

  • Knowledge of HTML and advanced PC skills (MS Office 2007 or 2010);
  • Thorough understanding of computer hardware and software;
  • Experience in a similar role;
  • Ideally a background in publishing;
  • Excellent organisation and planning skills;
  • Good accuracy and numeracy and attention to detail;
  • Strong communication skills;
  • The ability to work well under pressure.
