Manufacturing Maintenance Engineer Grangemouth   £25,000- £27,500

Hudson has an excellent permanent Maintenance Engineering opportunity with its exclusive client within Manufacturing that is suitable for a manufacturing Maintenance Engineer that is preferably multi-skilled but has at least an electrical bias with appropriate qualifications.

With an electrically biased multi-skilled maintenance engineering background, you will be responsible for carrying out a wide range of maintenance tasks on the production and packaging lines to improve overall line reliability and performance. Prompt response to plant emergency and breakdown situations is essential, as well as maintenance and repair (planned) and proactive development of effective working practices in-line with continuous improvement. It is essential for this role that you can prove a strong engineering background with an electrical bias – you will be dealing with hydraulics, pneumatics, conveyors, circuits, diagnosis, 3 phase, installing electrical cabling and equipment. This position will involve working shifts, and the starting salary for this role is up to £27.5K with an increase after 6 months depending on performance.

It is essential for this position that you are a time-served electrical engineer holding a 17th Edition certification. It would be an advantage if you had previously worked in a similar role within a textiles manufacturing environment.
