Hudson has an excellent opportunity for a Trading & Pricing Analyst to gain employment with an award winning, growing business. This role represents an opportunity to demonstrate your commercial acumen by providing succinct management information.
Role profile:
· To maximise margin and sales opportunity through the management of price points in conformance with range plans and their sales / margin objective.
· To analyse competitive position and make recommendations to the refinement of retail price points.
· To ensure that retail prices are benchmarked against the most relevant and realistic competitors.
· To manage & develop the physical price load process and ensure robustness (resilience & controls) and consistency
· Provide expert analytical support to inform commercial decision making.
To be considered for the role you must be / have:
· Strong MS Access skills are of paramount importance, ideally you will have a good level MS Excel too
· Previous experience in a similar role
· Self motivated
· Skilled in using necessary software for analysis & reporting
· The ability to make concise and supported recommendations
· Organised and task minded
· Excellent communication skills
· Team player working within teams and across the business
· Technical skills regards analysis, purchasing and pricing
