An established test equipment and fixturing supplier is looking for an experienced CNC Lathe Setter/Operator/Programmer for their site in East Kilbride. This is a temporary role but with the possibility of becoming permanent for the right candidate.
Role
- CNC Lathe Operator, Yang with Fanuc Control - programmed via Cimco Edit text Editor.
- Simple turned parts made to a tolerance of +-0.1mm, mainly silver, steel, aluminium and delrin.
- Most parts are programmed however any new items designed will need programmes created.
- Possible for ordering tooling and raw materials.
- Self inspection of parts.
- Experience is essential - no trainng available!
Hours and Salary
- Possible part time position - 20-30 hours per week.
- Hourly rate is £8.50, however over time is available after 40 hrs/wk.
- Operating hours are 8am - 4.30pm.
