IT Support Assistant
Due to our expanding operations, IKM are seeking to employ a self motivated individual with 3-5 years of work experience in IT support in a small to medium sized business environment. The successful applicant will support our existing IT manager in his daily role of maintaining and improving our IT infrastructure and will assist with the co-ordination of support enquiries for over 80 employees. In addition the applicant will be encouraged to assist with other tasks within the company, as appropriate to their workload and experience, including maintaining our company business accreditations and wider infrastructure. IKM are Investors in People accredited and career development will be actively encouraged, with the potential for the successful applicant to become an IT manager within IKM.
Essential areas of expertise and skills required:
· SBS Server 2011
· Server 2003/2008
· SQL 2005/8/10
· Active directory
· Exchange 2010
· Backup Exec
· Citrix
· Standard Network Infrastructure , VLAN, Switches,
· Firewalls
Further desirable skills to include, but not essential:
· MCSE / CISCO Qualified
This role will suit an individual who enjoys the challenge of working with people at all levels and who understands the importance of team working and good communication.
This is a permanent position based at our Grangemouth head office and offers an attractive salary package. A clean current driving licence is preferred.
