The Scottish Prison Service has a vacancy within the project management team of the Estates and Technical Services Directorate for a Deputy Project Manager who will support the appointed Project Managers and also directly deliver certain projects under the supervision of the Head of Projects. Although based at SPS Headquarters you will be expected to visit SPS establishments and development sites throughout Scotland.

You will possess a degree level qualification in a building related discipline – architecture, surveying, construction, building, structural or civil engineering, building services – and knowledge of the client driven project management process related to construction projects. You will assist in the implementation and management of a diverse portfolio of construction and development projects across the prison estate. You will be a team player with excellent verbal and written communication skills including a high standard of IT competency and awareness.
