Administration Assistant Broxburn   £15,000 to £17,000 dependant on experience

The Eastern Western Motor Group Ltd,Scotland’s 2nd largest independent motor retailer is looking to appoint an experienced Administration Assistant.Working as part of an already established HR team, the role is multi-faceted, but has two primary functions.  Successful candidates will require to:

1.     Support our experienced Payroll Advisor assisting in the running of our monthly payroll.  Duties will include processing starters/leavers, payroll changes, salary sacrifice arrangements, statutory provisions, and contractual changes etc. 

2.     Provide administration support to our HR Advisors assisting with general duties such as offer letters, induction packs etc.

For avoidance of any doubt, payroll experience is not essential, but would be advantageous; however a strong administration or accounts background is essential.

This is a demanding role with a varied, but interesting workload.  The HR department does not sit on the periphery of the business; we are an integral part of the Organisation, using multiple database/website to deliver an excellent service to the business.    Candidates will therefore have to possess excellent IT/numeric skills and in turn must possess outstanding organisational and communication skills.  

Being a multi- franchise and multi-disciplined business brings its own challenges and the successful candidate will need to be tenacious, have the ability to work to tight deadlines and ultimately be accountable for their own task follow-up.
