Hudson’s client, a true market leader, are now looking to recruit a Credit Controller on a permanent basis. The successful candidate will join their Operational Finance team in their Livingston office. Applications are invited from candidates with previous credit control and commercial collections experience. Membership of ICM or currently studying towards membership would be preferable. A high degree of computer literacy and spreadsheet skills will be essential.
Key responsibilities include:
- Managing sales ledger accounts.
- Providing assistance in resolving customer disputes.
- Monitoring bad debt provision.
- Carrying out risk assessment in relation to setting credit limits.
- Ensuring adherence to customer contractual payment terms.
- Ensuring accurate payment dates.
- Completing month end procedures in an accurate and timely manner.
- Managing customer debt accounts by liaising with external agencies.
