The post is based in Elgin and is seen as a key role in a company that continually strives to deliver excellence to its customers. The Lead Developer will be an experienced professional with a proven track record in developing business relevant solutions to a high standard following industry proven practises.

The successful applicant will be responsible for taking the lead in developing bespoke internal applications, engaging proactively with directors and business managers, ensuring that projects are delivered on time and are fit for purpose. The initial term for this post is 12 months (however this has the possibility to be extended).

Essential experience and skill set:

• 3+ year’s extensive .Net C# development.

• Excellent knowledge of Object Orientated design and development.

• Web Application Development ASP.NET, MVC3, WCF, Web Services

• Sql Server and Oracle experience.

• Ability to act as a team leader and technical lead.

• Ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.

• Project management experience.

• Excellent written and verbal communication skills.

Desirable:

• Experience of Windows Services and Win Forms development.

• Experience of Source Control (svn).
