Imports Clerk Paisley   £22k plus benefits

Our client is a highly regarded global freight forwarder and due to continued success and and prestigious contracts won we are recruiting on their behalf for an experienced imports clerk for their offices in Paisley

We would welcome applications from individuals who are experienced import clerks and have dealt with ocean freight and also Air Freight movements

You should have an in depth knowledge of the mechanics of goods importation and also the associated documentation, BoLs, AWBs, Certs of Origin and letters of Credit. Ideally you will have experience of NES and ASM/GEMS systems

• excellent telephone manner
• organisational skills
• ability to work under pressure and organise work load
• knowledge of customs procedures for importation of goods
• excellent client relationship skills
