Warranty Administrator - 12 MONTH CONTRACT Irvine   £20,000 Basic.

Large specialist Manufacturing organisation seek a Technology/IT  minded administrator to work within their warranty department.

THIS IS AN HIGHLY ANALYTIC ROLE and it's key function will be to recover costs via warranty claims.  Previous experience will be required.

THE ROLE

Analysing warranty information and data to look at trends in order to reduce spend

Identify and control flow of parts/stock ordering and control, so that the correct levels of stock are maintained for customers

Liaising with vendors to recover cost of parts (via the customers warranty agreement)

Assist with the processing of warranty claims

Ensure all paperwork is compliant with company policies and procedures (this is quite a strict process that requires great attention to detail).

HOURS

39 hours per week. Mon - Thur 8.30am - 5pm, Friday until 4pm.

ESSENTIAL KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED, IN ORDER TO APPLY FOR THIS ROLE

1. Due to the nature of the products on warranty - a degree/educational qualification in MECHANICS, ENGINEERING or ELECTRONICS or even IT would be very beneficial
2. A technical understanding of hydraulic and engineering systems/transmission systems would very helpful
3. Excellent PC/general IT skills
4. a 2nd language in FRENCH, GERMAN, or ITALIAN would be an added advantage
