Fantastic opportunity for Full-Time CNC Operators and Programmers to join a leading Engineering company based in Glasgow.
Your main duties will be:
- To effectively operate or program CNC Milling or Turning machines using Mazatrol to produce components which meet or exceed the Company's quality, operating and delivery standards.
- To maintain work area and machinery in good working order.
- To maximise production and comply with Company’s health, safety and environmental requirements at all times.
Key Areas of Responsibility:
- Produce right first time components, from customer’s drawings, to required cycle times.
- Maintain a cost effective and high standard of production.
- Improve production / manufacturing methods.
- Improve setup and run times.
- Maintain work area and machinery to a high standard.
- Observe Company Health and Safety policy.
- Observe Company Environmental policy.
- Liaise effectively with other members of the department and the Company.
The successful candidate will have excellent communication and problem solving skills and have proactive approach to their work.
