Manufacturing Development Manager Fife   Attractive Salary DOE

Due to continued growth an excellent opportunity exists for an experienced Manufacturing Development Manager to join our client's well established and successful manufacturing organisation. You will be responsible for leading the manufacturing development department and meeting key business objectives ensuring objectives are achieved. Furthermore you will be instrumental in effectively introducing continuous improvement activities across the plant and developing success programmes.

The successful candidate will be educated to degree level or equivalent and will have a demonstrable track record of leading manufacturing engineers within a medium to heavy manufacturing environment. You will have excellent planning and organisational skills and be a strong man manager. The ability to lead teams in complex tasks is imperative.

A proven track record of utilising continuous improvement techniques is essential and you will be able to demonstrate experience of value stream mapping and modern quality tools. You will have highly developed problem solving capabilities and be IT literate. Experience in FMEA and 8D is essential.
