Origin RPM’s client is an established and successful heavy engineering organisation based in North Lanarkshire. They now require an experienced Manufacturing Engineer to join the expanding team, helping the company develop and grow to meet the ever changing customer needs.
Key Duties:
- Manage all aspects of NPI from quotation through to planning and manufacture.
- Fixture & tooling design, and supplier selection.
- Provide Manufacturing Engineering support to the shop floor.
- Identification of improvement initiatives, and ability to deliver solutions on CI / Lean projects.
The successful candidate should have at least 3 years’ experience in a Manufacturing Engineering role, ideally from a Heavy Engineering environment. Candidates will require working knowledge of CAD/CAM and NC code verification software, as well as standard MS Office applications. The role will involve liaison between various departments and managers, therefore it is essential that you are a clear and confident communicator.
