Project Planner Dunfermline   Competitive hourly rate

Our client has an ongoing contract opportunity for a Project Planner.

Responsibilities will include:-
Build, Maintain and the Monitor Project Plan.

Maintain and update the BOM and Material Requirements for Project
Regularly Analyse Project Plan and MRP data.

Up the project plan with any changes to Engineering Activities, Main Raw Materials, Project Material Shortages, and Manufacturing Slot Requirements
Manage and support Stock Movement, Material Substitution and Request for Assembly
Ensure that the Project Team are aware of any issues/contraints to the planMonitor and Expedite Shipping Process of all materials.
Attend and support Project and Operations related meetings
Support and cover Senior Project Planner and/or Project Manager as required

Qualifications and experience
Previous experience of working in a similar planning role within an manufacturing organisation (engineering or Oil and Gas would be highly advantageous

Understanding of project planning for large scale project manufacturing.

MRP Experience using SAP or similar
Practical understanding of Engineering BOM's and Engineering Design Process.
Understanding and appreciation of LEAN Manufacturing Process
