High Value Domestic Loss Adjuster Glasgow   £35000 - £45000 per annum + Car & Benefits

Our client is a National Loss Adjusting company with office locations throughout the UK who are in an exciting period of growth and are expanding their operations throughout Scotland. Within the Scottish market they have developed a proven and stable team environment with a wealth of technical abilities and adjusting experience. They are currently recruiting for an experienced High Value Domestic Loss Adjuster to be either based from home, or from the Glasgow office.

PLEASE NOTE, YOU WILL ONLY BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE IF YOU HAVE EXPERIENCE OF DEALING WITH EXTERNAL DOMESTIC PROPERTY CLAIMS OF £50K OR MORE.

Job Details

•Joining the external loss adjusting team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of High value Domestic losses. The role will include :
•Taking the claim instruction from the insurance company
•Contacting the policyholder and arranging the on-site visit
•Attending the claim site and discussing the loss in-depth with the policyholder
•Carry out full investigations on the loss and assess liability and quantum
•Arranging for suppliers, contractors and other 3rd parties to attend
•Negotiate settlements with the policyholder
•Report findings and settlement payments to the insurance companies

The role requires someone who has :

•Have progress towards a professional insurance qualification such as ACII or CILA (Ideal but not essential)
•Be technically competent at dealing with domestic and commercial claims
•Be experienced at meeting clients on a face to face basis
•Good communication skills
•Strong organisational skills
•A current driving licence
•The ability to respond to queries efficiently and effectively
•The ability to work remotely

A realistic salary of around £40K or more, plus additional benefits, is on offer to the successful candidate.
