Technical Property Claims Handler Glasgow   £24000 - £26000 per annum + Benefits

My client is a large, international Insurance organisation who are recruiting for a highly experienced and technical property claims handler to work within their office in Glasgow. Specialising in property insurance, you will be managing a portfolio of clients claims and provide claims expertise and technical guidance for your clients and colleagues in the event of a complex claim or major loss. This is a fantastic opportunity to join a marketing leading organisation.

The successful candidate may come from a broking, loss adjusting or Insurance company background and will have experience in investigating and assessing large property claims. Other responsibilities involved in this role are:

Obtaining instructions from the policy holders
Contributing to, and maintain, the relevant Technical Database.
Acting as a technical referral point for the team
Managing the claim within strict timescales and service standards

Candidates must have :

Strong technical knowledge property claims knowledge
Technical claims handling experience
Good relationship skills
Excellent communication skills (both written and verbal)
Be well organised
Able to train and develop other members of the team
