Domestic Loss Adjuster Dundee   £21000 - £25000 per annum + Car + Bonus

Our client is an international Loss Adjusting company with office locations throughout the UK. They currently have a vacancy for a Domestic Loss Adjuster who will be based from home and will cover an area between Dundee and Aberdeen. Joining the external loss adjusting team, you will be responsible for managing a caseload of domestic property claims up with a value up to £25,000.

PLEASE NOTE: YOU MUST EXTERNAL LOSS ADJUSTING EXPERIENCE TO BE CONSIDERED FOR THIS ROLE.

Responsibilities will include:
Taking the claim instruction from the insurance company
Contacting the policyholder and arranging the on-site visit
Attending the claim site and discussing the loss in-depth with the policyholder
Carry out full investigations on the loss and assess liability and quantum
Arranging for suppliers, contractors and other 3rd parties to attend
Negotiate settlements with the policyholder
Report findings and settlement payments to the insurance companies

The successful candidate will come from either an Insurance Company or Loss Adjusting environment, and you will also:
Have gained experience in an external claims handling role
Be technically skilled in either Domestic or Commercial claims
Have progressed with a professional insurance qualification
Have excellent communication and negotiation skills
Have a full driving licence
Be confident and able to liaise with domestic policyholders and commercial businesses
