The Client
This is an outstanding opportunity to work with a small, vibrant and innovative company specialising in the development of generator technology for application within various renewable energy sectors. They are currently developing an advanced prototype with the aim of taking the technology into commercialisation.
The Role
The CAD Engineer will be expected to provide design solutions for components & assemblies using a variety of tools including Solidworks.
The successful candidate will support engineering, manufacturing, procurement and tendering activities by generating engineering drawings & specifying finishes and tolerances.
Other design activity will focus on tools, jigs & fixtures and also generating electrical schematics.
The Candidate
The successful candidate will have previous industry experience in a design environment, ideally with some exposure to the design of rotating equipment or electrical machines. An excellent understanding of CAE tools, including Solidworks, is essential.
