The Role
The Mechanical Engineer will be a integral part of the R&D Team responsible for Mechanical system design & verification for miniature optical applications. The successful candidate will also provide technical support to internal and external stakeholders and, as a result, the successful candidate will, from time to time, be expected to travel to assist at internal sites as well visiting customer sites, throughout the world.

The Candidate
The successful candidate will have a relevant degree level qualification with industry experience in a Mechanical Design environment, competent user of Solidworks and experience of any of the following: Injection Moulding/plastics, stress analysis, thermal analysis and/or environmental testing.
