>> You have a CQSW, Diploma in Social Work or CSS (in appropriate field) and have suitable experience working in a child care setting and of working with children and families. Job Purpose
>> To directly provide a professional field social work services to children, families, individuals and groups within current legislation, policies and procedures of Aberdeenshire Council through working in partnership with service users, other professionals and agencies and the wider community.
Main Tasks
- Assessment, care planning, provision and/or commissioning of services to children in need, including those with disabilities, those who require protection or at risk, looked after children and their families
- Direct work with children, families and individuals
- Carrying out of statutory and agency responsibilities
